How to Save the World With Your Research

February 08, 2016

SPARQ hosted a well-attended professional development session, "How To Save the World With Your Research," at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology in San Diego, California.

SPARQ research scientist Sarah Lyons-Padilla moderated a panel discussion on academic-practitioner collaborations with SPARQ faculty directors Hazel Markus and Jennifer Eberhardt and SPARQ faculty affiliate Geoff Cohen.

Following the panel, SPARQ executive director Alana Conner led a workshop featuring SPARQ's new Partner Outreach Toolkit (pdf), which helps researchers learn how to articulate their real-world research questions in a compelling way and identify appropriate practitioner partners.
