Eberhardt's Landmark Research Featured in The New York Times

The New York Times highlights Faculty Co-Director Jennifer Eberhardt's findings on racial bias in the death penalty.

The New York Times features landmark research from Faculty Co-Director Jennifer Eberhardt finding that when Black defendants were perceived to look more stereotypically Black, they were more likely to be sentenced to death when victims were White. A new report also shows Black prisoners are more than twice as likely to experience mishandled executions than their White counterparts.
