Join Us for SPARQ’s Biased Book Launch Event on 5/6!

Join us in celebrating the publication of Biased! The event will feature a reading by Dr. Eberhardt and a Q&A with Oakland Police Department Deputy Chief LeRonne Armstrong.

On May 6th, SPARQ will host a book launch event for Faculty Co-Director Jennifer Eberhardt to celebrate the publication of her new book, Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do. The event will feature a reading by Dr. Eberhardt, a Q&A  with Oakland Police Department Deputy Chief LeRonne Armstrong, and a book signing. Light refreshments will be provided and copies of Biased will be available for purchase.

This event is cosponsored by African and African American Studies, Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity, Clayman Institute, and VMWare Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab.
