New research by SPARQ Health Director Alia Crum and colleagues explores the intricate connection between mindset, vaccine side effects, and immune response.

Fear of side effects is one of the most common reasons people are hesitant to get vaccinated. However, reframing your perception of your unpleasant side effects as signals of immunity builders may help in surprising ways. Crum and colleagues find that having a positive attitude towards your side effects can not only reduce stress, but is also associated with an improved immune response in the following months.
