SPARQ Team Members Attend APS 2026

At the Association for Psychological Science (APS) 2026 convention in Barcelona, Co-Director Eberhardt was recognized with an award and team members presented new research on policing.

Co-Director Jennifer Eberhardt, Criminal Justice Fellow Mikaela Spruill, and Graduate Affiliate Julia Proshan attended the Association for Psychological Science (APS) 2026 convention in Barcelona.

Eberhardt received the APS James S. Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award for Transformative Scholarship, which honors her lifetime of outstanding research for advancing understanding of historically disadvantaged racial and ethnic groups. Proshan presented research conducted with other SPARQ members and affiliates on the relationship between historical redlining and current disparities in police officers’ treatment of drivers.
