SPARQ offers varying levels of engagement for interested practitioners. Review the options below and email us for more information about topics, availability, and fees: Stanford_SPARQ@stanford.edu.
Invite SPARQ to speak
SPARQ’s team presents on a variety of topics related to tackling disparities and inspiring culture change in criminal justice, economic mobility, education, and health. We also speak on building effective research-practitioner partnerships, conducting research in the real-world, addressing bias through institutional change, and leveraging psychological insights for organizational culture change. Learn more about our team.
Request a research clinic at Stanford
SPARQ regularly hosts research clinics at Stanford that convene practitioners and researchers in a 2-hour forum. At clinics, attendees troubleshoot issues practitioners are facing in their work and brainstorm evidence-based strategies and solutions to address those issues. Learn more about our clinics.
Request a research clinic at your organization
SPARQ also travels to practitioners’ organizations to conduct site visits and hold clinics. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about our practitioners’ worlds and engage with their teams on their turf.
Collaborate on a workshop or conference
SPARQ also periodically convenes workshops or co-hosts conference sessions with practitioners to spend focused time delving deeply into issues and solutions. Learn more about our workshops and conferences.
Partner on a project
The true bread and butter of SPARQ’s work is sustained collaboration with our practitioner partners. If you are interested in developing a project with us, we suggest scheduling a speaking engagement or clinic to kick off the process. From there, SPARQ can start to partner with your organization to discover the issues you want to tackle and begin the process of co-designing and implementing a long-term project. Check out SPARQ’s approach and recent projects.
