In Loving Memory of Nalini Ambady

SPARQ’s beloved founder and faculty director, Dr. Nalini Ambady, ended her long and brave battle with cancer the morning of October 28, 2013.

Her commitment to using social psychology to make the world a better place, however, lives on in her work, the many colleagues she inspired, and the many students she mentored. Although our hearts are heavy, we at SPARQ feel very grateful for the time we did get to share with Nalini. Her brilliance, compassion, and spirit remain an example to us all.

In honor of Nalini, SPARQ is working with several organizations to recruit more and more diverse bone marrow donors, whose heroic efforts have save tens of thousands of people with bone cancer. To learn more about this project, click here.
